Specialized Programs for Seniors and Disabled Persons
Senior/Disabled Transportation- Mountain Empire Region Only
Mountain Health’s Senior/Disabled Transportation program utilizes
volunteers to transport qualified seniors and disabled persons without
transportation to medical appointments, pharmacy pick-up, and/or general
errands. A qualification pre-screening is required for all interested.
This program is offered free of charge, through the generosity of SANDAG
and individual donations. To schedule a screening, please call the Resource

Homebound Senior Meal Delivery- Alpine, Campo, Jacumba, Boulevard, &
Mountain Health’s Homebound Senior Meal Delivery Program delivers
homemade, nutritious meals to those without transportation. Delivery can
be temporary, during a recovery or other event that renders the person
homebound, or long-term for those with no transportation and/or ability
to operate a vehicle. The only requirement is that the receipt be homebound.
The meal delivery program is free, but donations are gratefully accepted
and appreciated to ensure continuation of the program. To sign up, please
